Situated in the heart Royal Wootton Bassett high street, in an early 19th century cinema house - The Butcher's Mate is a Restaurant Café with a menu expanding from traditional breakfasts to lunch and dinner plates.
We have a bar area to enjoy drinks and light bites, alongside a 46 seater restaurant offering more substantial meals and Afternoon Tea.
When we opened our doors in October of 2020, we set an ethos to support local suppliers and stand with our community. We are proud to be here today, holding these relationships close to our heart.

Monthly Events
We hold Monthly Event weekends on the first weekend of every month. Each month with a one off menu and theme. Showcasing everything from the best cuts of meat and how to prepare them to different countries most famous dishes.
